Yesterday, the Tao Framework 2.0 has been released, a long-awaited update to the well known collection of wrapper assemblies for game developers! This new release is the first official stable release built against the .NET 2.0 runtime, so anyone who's still sitting on a pre-2.0 release should now seriously consider upgrading.
For Windows users, the new release features an installer that will automatically put the assemblies into the GAC and copy the neccessary native libraries into place so there won't be any trouble for inexperienced users wanting to make use Tao.
Looking back at the 1.x releases, the new Tao Framework adds support for the Lua scripting language and gives access to the full functionaly of the updated ODE 0.6 library released not too long ago, amongst various bugfixes.
